Celebrating a Warm Heart: An Evening of Tribute for Jordan Bendat Appell
Celebrating a Warm Heart: An Evening of Tribute for Jordan Bendat Appell
Please join us for an evening of gratitude, celebration and blessings as we thank and toast Jordan before he moves to Toronto with his family to begin a new professional path. It will be an evening of community celebration, study, and song as we raise funds to sustain the work of Jewish mindfulness in our local community as a way to honor Jordan and the gifts he has seeded.
A portion of the funds raised will be earmarked to bring Jordan back to the Chicago area to teach in our community in the coming year, continuing the work that Jordan started.
All donations are fully tax deductible.

Entering Into Shabbat: Singing as a Spiritual Practice
A special workshop with Rabbi Dr. Elie Holzer
We often think of Shabbat as a holiday that begins on Friday evening and ends on Saturday evening. Shabbat can be so much more: a template for peaceful encounters all week long, a chance to touch the eternal and the transformative, and a time for intimacy love. How do you prepare yourself for so much fullness? In this very special workshop with visiting scholar and teacher Rabbi Dr. Elie Holzer, we will practice entering the Shabbat mindset through melody and harmony. This is much much more than a concert!
