Entering Into Shabbat: Singing as a Spiritual Practice

  • Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation (map)

A special workshop with Rabbi Dr. Elie Holzer

We often think of Shabbat as a holiday that begins on Friday evening and ends on Saturday evening. Shabbat can be so much more: a template for peaceful encounters all week long, a chance to touch the eternal and the transformative, and a time for intimacy love. How do you prepare yourself for so much fullness? In this very special workshop with visiting scholar and teacher Rabbi Dr. Elie Holzer, we will practice entering the Shabbat mindset through melody and harmony. This is much much more than a concert!
