A Pained Heart: Exploring Responsibility and Identity

Thursday mornings - 10:00 - 11:30 am

May 16, 23, May 30, June 6

In this 4-class series, we will study teachings that can begin to help us unpack many pressing questions that have risen to the surface with greater intensity over the last few months, including: how do I define the contours of my Jewish identity?

To whom or to what am I responsible? What are the implications of responsibility? When do I use my voice and when do I use my silence as tools for peace and healing? As we move through the period of the Omer and towards the holiday of Shavuot, we will think together about what it means, today, for us to create lives that embody Torah.
