Winter is a time for hibernating, retreating, and quieting ourselves as the natural world brings us colder weather and darker days. In the Jewish calendar, the Hebrew month of Shevat is a time for turning inward and exploring our deep inner resources for new forms of growth that are just beginning to emerge within. The holiday of Tu B’Shevat is an invitation to notice those inner reservoirs of strength and new potential and to courageously breathe life into them, to let go of our impulse to conceal those hidden pieces of ourselves. Which seeds can we courageously nourish into being during this month of Shevat? Join us for this yoga workshop to honor the invitations of the month of Shevat. The class will interweave yoga asana with mindfulness meditation and time or personal reflection and intention setting. Open to all - those new to yoga and those with an established practice. Suitable for all bodies and levels.
