Singing into the Breach: a daylong retreat to prepare for Passover

On this daylong immersive retreat, we will explore many of the invitations of the Passover holiday and the questions it invites us to engage. On this holiday of liberation, we can pause on the horizon of freedom and consider what opens for us as we move through the birth canal to liberation. Which ancestors do we carry with us? What stories animate our steps forward? What songs can we sing that will bring us strength and renewed energy? How can we use the stories of our past and our visions for the future to ground us in the present moment with greater clarity and freedom?

On this retreat, we will explore teachings and texts from the Jewish tradition and interweave these with mindfulness meditation, embodied practice, and song to share a multidisciplinary transformative experience to take into the holiday - to see the festival with new eyes and a fresh heart.
