Banishing Darkness, Creating Light: Embodied Spiritual Hanukkah Practice

Monday, December 11th

7 - 8:15 pm

Yogaview Wilmette - 1231 Green Bay Rd

Taught by Deb Wineman and Rebecca Minkus Lieberman

$30

This year, the invocation to cultivate light in the world feels more difficult than it has, and even more urgent. Jewish tradition teaches us that on Hanukkah we do two things simultaneously: banish darkness and create light. While the world feels dark, out in the natural world and for the Jewish People, we have to summon our inner strength and courage and find concrete ways to bring powerful light into the world. We begin with finding the light within, in our bodies, minds, and hearts - and then radiate that light to others. Join us for this special Hanukkah embodied practice session which will include lighting of the Hanukkiah, meditation, and movement. Open to all.

Led by Deb Wineman and Rebecca Minkus Lieberman

Registration fee: $30
