Peaceful Parent Project: Parenting in Challenging Times

Peaceful Parent Project® Presents: Parenting in Challenging Times

4 Tuesday evenings: Nov. 14, Nov. 21, Nov. 28, Dec. 5

8 - 9 pm CT | Zoom

Taught by Rebecca Minkus-Lieberman, director of the Peaceful Parent Project

This is an incredibly difficult moment to be a Jew, and even more difficult to be a Jewish parent, as we try to manage our own anxiety and worries, while providing refuge and guidance to our children. In this special 4-class series, we will create space for parents to gather in the community. Each session will focus on one particularly challenging aspect of parenting at this moment and will offer Jewish teachings and mindfulness practices to provide comfort and healing. In addition, the class will provide time for connecting to other parents with similarly aged children to share challenges and offer peer support.

Topics will include: navigating our own grief and anxiety, accessing tools to calm our nervous systems, establishing healthy boundaries for engagement, for both ourselves and our children, developing new rituals for our families to bring comfort, and finding the right language to use when speaking to our children about the war.

Listen to this FREE Peaceful Parent® Meditation for Difficult Times taught by Rebecca Minkus-Lieberman

Registration: $75
