The Prophetic Tradition and its Resonance for our Contemporary Lives

The propehtic tradition in Judaism is deep and central to our understanding of orienting our lives around the moral and ethical values that call us to lives of holiness. In this class, we will turn to some of our central prophets - Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Micah - to ground us in this historical tradition, and we will add in modern and contemporary prophetic voices. The learning will include conversation and personal reflection as we recover the link between these ancient stories of calling and that impact they have on our own lives today.
