Revealing and Concealing

The Interplay between "what is revealed" and "what is concealed "appears in many places in the Torah. It speaks to both human and divine relationships. It can have a profound effect on personal prayer practice, conceptions of God and what it means to live a life connected to others. In this class, we will explore some of these Biblical texts along with poetry, Hasidic texts and some modern writings as well. All are welcome. Taught by Jane Shapiro.
