What will the High Holiday season of 5781 look like? How can we move into the Jewish New Year, in a year unlike any we have seen before? As we find ourselves in the midst of a global pandemic, we are all confronted with new constrictions, new worries, new uncertainties. But the natural world and its cycles remain a steady and reassuring anchor, guiding us inwards and downwards to find strength and renewal. Harvesting the fruit and vegetable abundance from fields and gardens. Pickling and preserving for the winter. Migration of monarch butterflies. The dispersal of seeds for later germination.

What lessons can we draw from the natural world and it’s small but intricate beauties that might help nourish and sustain us this High Holiday season, in this difficult and uncertain time? Join us for an evening of exploration and renewal to prepare for the coming New Year of 5781.
