Experiencing the Divine: What Judaism Teaches us about the Nature of God

Experiencing the Divine: What Judaism Teaches us about the Nature of God

The commandment to love God stands at the center of Judaism, and yet it is a concept that is difficult to fully comprehend or bring into our daily lives. What does it mean to love God? How do we attempt to practice this? How might loving God alter the rest of our lives?

In this class, we will delve into this central but often-neglected topic and explore how different Jewish sages throughout Jewish history grappled with this fundamental idea. Our study and conversations will arc back to our own lives, seeking to extend our exploration into our own everyday spiritual lives.
